The National Jewelry Institute is curating the jewelry for the upcoming exhibition “Mod New York: Fashion Takes a Trip” which opens at The Museum of the City of New York on November 22, 2018.  Mod New York explores the full arc of 1960s fashion, jewelry, and accessories, shedding new light on a period marked by tremendous and daring stylistic diversity.


On 3 and 4 July 2016, Christie’s Paris hosted an exhibition of the best piece of each luxury brand’s new high jewelry and timepiece collections recognized by the NJI @ Parsons distinguished jury. The panel of experts included: Catherine Pegard, President of Versailles; Erik Desmazieres,  the new President of the Academie des Beaux Arts; Olivier Gabet, Director of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs; and Fabienne Reybaud, Editor of Le Figaro; Vincent Meylan, noted author and historian; Ben Clymer, Editor-in-Chief and Founder of; Burak Cakmak, Dean, Parsons School of Design; and Judy Price, President of the National Jewelry Institute.
